Doesn't sound like it was a Brady's guilty/not guilty decision but an "The NFL doesn't have the authority to make up rules/punishment on their own outside the CBA" decision. I believe that was the rationale, but the way I heard it at lunchtime, the NFLPA gave the NFL authority in to unilaterally punish players for rules violations in the last CBA. As usual, it looks like the NFLPA's word is only as good as the word of any one of its members... and if you consider the way they all want to tear up their contracts every year, that ain't too good. I love watching NFL football, but the constant parade of overpaid, self-entitled men proving that they are, indeed, above the law of the common man is getting tougher and tougher for this fan to stomach.

This is exactly why I'm not a huge NFL fan.. When players reach stardom many create their own politics to draw interest their way and to raise their stock... Shermy and Skittles are perfect examples.... guys like Slow Duce eat that schitt up and fork out more pesos for jerseys, socks, and spout their name as advertisement. Can't believe you guys hate Brady...The American poster child
