Hi guys,

Those of you who fished this weekend, where did you go and how did you do?

I fished Southworth & Dolphin point Friday evening. Trolled herring and hoochies. Got 1 resident coho and a couple of horn sharks, trolling Pretty SLOW.

Fished Sinclair inlet on Saturday night. Marked a lot of fish but no biters. The fish biologist at the ramp says its been very slow.

Finally found some fish yesterday in the C&R area north of Southworth. Released 2 (mid-teens) and had a couple of shakers, 1 coho using herring and dodgers. Hooked and lost a king in area 11 on a grandslam at high slack.

How'd the rest of you guys do?

Went to bouy 10, Fished sat in the river got one little 6 pound fin-clipped coho.It was sloooooowwwww, but heard of some large king's taken here and there up to 50 pound's.Fished the ocean off a friend's parent's 50 footer,The coho were thick some nice 8-12 pounder's.There was six of us on the boat, two were sea sick and couldn't hang.We landed over twenty but five were nat's and five shaker's took home ten nice fin-clipped.The river appears to be 5-7 day's out yet.I'll be back the 18th/19th/20th/21st,hopefully they will be there. Fished Bouy 10 Friday and Saturday. 4 Chinook 18, 19, 22, and 45lbs.! Also, released 2 non-clipped coho. Very good bite on high slack and beginning of outgoing friday afternoon up by the bridge and down towards the church. Saturday was very slow with the only flurry coming right in front of chinook in the mid morning on the incoming tide. Still about a week early!!
Good Luck!

Fished Dolphin Point Friday evening from 5 to 930 and got skunked except for a tremendous dogfish bite at about 800 pm off the Vashon ferry dock (trolling at 100 ft in 200 ft of water, because thats where I found the bait, they attacked both coyote spoon and hootchie). Fished Pt Robinson on Sunday, skunked. I've tried about everything so far this year and have not done too great. I was catching a shaker at 740 am every time I fished Defiance, but not even a shaker lately. Lots to learn...

fished the sky sunday. 2 strikes, one unbuttoned, but one was landed. Finally my cheapo corsairs bit the dust. It's back to the factory for them and replacements are on their way.

Thanks for the reports guys...it's fun to know what else is happening around the different areas. And for those guys that didn't post 'cuz you don't want me coming and raiding your spot, kidding, don't worry, I've got a few more of my own to hit first.

Spurdog, the last boat at Dolphin when you guys left on Friday was me, if that was you of course. We found those same pesky dogfish but gave it a go until the moon was bright in the sky. No luck there...

WDR, I guess you had enough salmon in the freezer, needed some Koke's for some variety eh?

Thanks for the Buoy 10 reports and the others, keep 'em coming. Sounds like a good time is happening out there...
