Don't let the low water keep you from the Nooch plenty of Silvers in it right now sure you might have to drag in a couple of places but big deal.Hit it next month the big hooknoses will be in.Ron Bob the flow on the Nooch for Salmon is any height cause they always come in late summer for steelhead it's prime at 1600 fishable at 2200 depending on color.

Are there plenty of steelhead left in the nooch and if so where would they be hiding right now?

If you do the Nooch try from the gravel bar to Black Creek for starters.Myself I recommend the Satsop for Silvers and like mentioned above do the Nooch. next month when the majority of large hooknoses come in.

I drift it all the time from 400 to 2200. I go from white bride down to black creek. With this rain that we have comming down this weekend it should be in prim by monday. I will be there all next week and the week after if it stays in shape. If you would care to team up just drop me a line as I am always looking for someone new to wet a line with.

I will be starting this monday for the next two weeks. The best time is in the week as less boats on the water. Let me know when you would like to go and it is on.

well, as of now it has'nt rained enough on the harbor to raise the rivers at all.the wynoochee and satsop are very low there is some fish in them but most of them have been there since the last rain about 10 days ago.the fish in the satsop are just laying there dodging people hooks a lot of them have several hooks in them.and by looking out my window it don't look like it is gonna rain much so check the water tables before you waste your gas money. good luck

Driftboat,
did you float the wynoochee this weekend?
I fished above white bridge to see if there were any summer run left i pulled one out last weekend but had no luck this weekend.
I'll have to see when we can drift the Nooch or when i can get time to. I'll contact you when i know i have time to.

Ryan or Drift boat,
Hey guys have you seen the river since it went up a little? Is it muddy or still fishable? Is it floatable for this weekend? Or, do you think that we might need somemore rain. I am talking about the white bridge to pump house drift. Well, have a good day. Thanks.

I was down it yesterday and was in to all kinds of fish.. Yes it is low but more than fishable. You might end up walking a boat now and then. Hit the first hole down from white bridge as we did the best in that hole. I will be in the drift boat with stickers all over it.

Drift boat,
You got me interested now. The Hump is out of the question and I need to go fishing this week so I am game for tommmorow. What float you wanting to do? I have to be out of the water around 1:30 or so so I can still go to work at 2:30. I can take my drift boat and you can take yours and we can do a leap frog type of thing. I know the river really well and I can show you a few things as you can show me. There should be a bunch of new fish after this last rain. I will be home tonight after work around 7:00. Give me a call at 538-1798 and let me know what you want to do.

Thanks,
Andy Matthews
