A couple of friends were interested in helping out with moorage payments. I started looking into it, even called Kelby. Made it out Saturday getting prepared for the opener. I hadn't even bought a license until Thursday. Thought I should probably read the regulations and it was like a kick in the balls.

WTF?? No fishing from floating device after August 16? You have got to be kidding. Who even comes up with this [Bleeeeep!]?

It's a typo right? There will be an announcement that it will be open right? So no last minute gillnet opener right?

Moorage? I don't think so.

I shouldn't type anymore.

No fishing from a floating device applies to area 9 but area 10 looks like it will be open for silvers after August 16. There just isn't enough beach access in area 9 to consider this regulation even close to reasonable.
