I have been a visitor for a long time. I get a real kick out of all the abuse that gets dished out for some of the stupid questions asked. On a lighter note I wanted to see how many very large hatchery steelhead have been heard of over the years. I read a story last year about a 31 lb that did not name the stream and I have heard of several around the 20 mark. On Friday I caught a 41x20.5 inch 24 lb. Hatchery Head on a stream I have fished for years and caught countless fish yet never breaking 17 lbs. Forgive me for not including a better picture this was 3 days after he was caught I will post a Fresher picture later.

Here you go. Is that a Quinalt fish with a big adipose and stunted dorsel fin?

Alright, slab, how much did you pay the quinalts to borrow that fish for a "photo op?" Kidding, of course. That's a freakin' hog of a hatchery fish if indeed it is a hatchery fish.......... Nicely done...

Took the image that was posted, above, and blew it up a bit. Not too sharp, but that is sure a HOG of a "brat". Not sure I would want to call that fish a "brat" to it's live face...it could get mad and bite you! Mike

Its look every bit of 24 pounds. Congrats. Half of the 20+ fish that get posted look like 12 pounders, but the real thing is awesome. I want a 24 pounder on a snoopy rod this year.
Its not the stupid questions that draw heat on this board. Its usually some pic of somebody doing something ill-eagle, immoral, or just stupid.

Hey Slab, that is a monster, nice to see someone out there catching fish while most of us wait for all the rivers to come into shape.

Man, those Quinault brats are just huge! Here's the 31ish pound brat that came of the Quinault last year. Makes my 27 pound Quinault brat look tiny.
