You're likely to catch it all at Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir

Southern Idaho reservoirs are a grab bag of fish, and Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir has a variety of fish that matches up with the big names like Brownlee and C.J. Strike.

Want some bass? Check. Crappie and bluegill? Sure. Perch? Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir has those, too.

But those are pretty common fish in Southern Idaho. How about walleye, kokanee salmon and rainbow/cutthroat hybrids transplanted from Henrys Lake in eastern Idaho?

Yep, all in the same reservoir.

Drop a worm, a jig, or even a fly in Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir and you never know what you will catch.

"The cool thing is, if you're fishing for one thing and it sucks, go fish for something else," said Joe Moloney of Mountain Home.

C.J. Strike is minutes from Moloney's home and he had not fished Salmon Falls Creek ....
