Fished the Cowlitz at the mouth of the Toutle river 9-28-01. I lost my work keys at the parking area off of Toutle Park RD. If someone found them please email me. fshnjohn@surfbest.net

I fished all day at the mouth. There are alot of fish there but you have to work hard to get them to bite. I was able to get 3 fair hooked fish. Of those 3 I released one that was a boot and one that was unclipped. I also released 2 foul hooked fish. Alot of the fish that were caught were foul hooked. The fishermen across the river were doing the best as far as numbers of fish hooked.
I only saw a hand full of chrome fish. Around 6:30pm the fish were rolling all over above the mouth. I threw spinners at them but they were not interested.

Damn, that sucks. Oh well, at least they weren't house keys or car keys. They can be replaced can't they?

Ya. Got a new set today and did not even get yelled at. Hopefully it means I will catch more fish next friday. Just wish someone new a good rain dance.
