Ok brothers, Does anybody have any idea what kind of shape the Satsop is in right now..... I'm talking about the East fork, from Scheafer park on down. Is it even fishable? What will be in? Late run silvers and a few Steelies perhaps? I just gotta find somewhere to go fish. I'm goin nuts here and I really dont feel like resorting to the Barrier Dam or Blue Creek if I dont have to. Any help would be greatly appreciated

probably still a bit high, but the area you want to fish should be getting pretty close to fishable

ZoZo, have heard fragmented info. over the last 4-5 years about the late Silver run that comes in during this time. Have never tried it because it's so hard to resist that metal head shake. Sure would like to probe it though. If you go keep us posted.

Let us know how you faired Aunty. Thanks.

LittleZoZo and others:

On monday afternoon, 12/3, hiway area was still off color BUT there were rigs in the parking lot. It's cold tonight, tuesday, and the river is on the drop sooooooooooooo I'll be there in the morning. Would like the river a little lower and of course slower but this time of the year a person best "fish when you can".

Cut and paste the sites below: will be a BIG help when you learn at what levels and flows you like to fish......I use them before I go fishing, especially on the Wyncoochee cause they can release water at the dam, and river can go up 2+ feet over night. Can't tell you the numbers of people that fished one day and then came down the next only to shake their heads, and they knew it hadn't rained...
