Wife asked me to start this one for all the fishing widows out there. Get the wives into this one guys and lets here what they have to say.
A couple from my wife;
-When your husbands idea of a "Date Night" is a quick movie after a day of fishing. And then he falls asleep on you during the movie.

-When all your family buys for your husband for X-Mas is more fishing tackle.

-when your husbands car reaks of fish and bait, or better yet when he leaves and forgets about sand shrimp he left in your trunk when he borowed your car to go fishing...2 months earlier.

- the #1 reason you know when you are a fishing widow; When all your husbands friends are either guides or other fisherman and they call you on the phone to get river reports when your husband is out on the river.

....When your husband gets up on Sat and gets the eggs out of the frig but there not for your breakfast.

....When your husband throws his fishing jacket, wet from the days fishing, in to the clothes dryer, forgetting the sand shrimp in his front right pocket. And it takes three weeks for the smell to go away.

....When your husband asks if your borox laundry booster can also be used to cure eggs.

When he says "Your hair is so beautiful", as he removes the yarn like ribbon, breaks out his tying vise and uses the ribbon as an ingredient for a hot new steelie fly

When he knows the phone number for Cabelas and Teds by heart, and can't remember the day or year you were married

When he buys you a new baitcaster for your anniversary

When she sees the phone bill and sees tons of calls to a new number in another city. She calls the number and finds out it is your new steelhead fishing buddy Chuck. You met him three weeks ago on a river while fishing, and the two of you talk more than you do with your wife

When she comes back from the mall and hears giggling noises in the basement bedroom. She carefully enters the room, and sees you fondling your new Loomis 1143 rod

When the only way to get any production out if him is to say if you do this you can go fishing tomorrow,
never seen a man so motivated

When he'd rather look at STS instead of his Playboys

When he tells you how good you would look in hip boots

When his excuse to buy a new G-Loomis spinning rod is so he can take me fishing...Ya Right

Yup. All of that pretty much sums me up!

Matter of fact, my wife calls Saukit2em "my other wife".
