OK, DR got a nasty e-mail for talking about a fishng spot on the sound. This should be safe - What is your favorite COMBAT FISHING ZONE and why? No zipper lips here, just the best nonsecret fishng zones you'll admit to sharing with hundreds of other anglers at a time.
I pick: The Oysterhouse Hole in Tillamook. A small slot of water about 200 yards long and 50 yards wide at low tide. Depth 3-7 feet. Cram in 50-75 boats of all types, including big old fiberglass cruisers. Then have everyone trolling quickfish or spinners 10-15 pulls behind their boat. Go in circles for hours and hope to be one of the lucky few to hook into some red hot bright chinook fresh off the salt. Combat fishing at it's finest! laugh
