The Mets and Mariners completed a blockbuster trade Monday, with Seattle sending second baseman Robinson Cano and closer Edwin Diaz to New York for outfielder Jay Bruce, righties Anthony Swarzak and Gerson Bautista and prospects Jarred Kelenic and Justin Dunn.
Seattle has committed to a major teardown this winter, trading Mike Zunino (Rays), James Paxton (Yankees) and Alex Colome (White Sox) before Monday.

The M's are also working on a deal that will send star shortstop Jean Segura to the Phillies and are open to more moves as the winter meetings approach--- It sounds like Segura to Phillies is a done deal if he waives his no trade clause.
