Was wondering if anyone out there has any DryPlus waders and if so, what do ya think? They seem to be a good blend of value/features! Thanks for any input.

I think the Cabelas waders are the same or similar to Hodgemans waders. I have a pair of the Hodgeman Wadelites and I love them. thumbs

I bought a pair of Cabela's DRY PLUS waders in october 2002 and they already have holes on the inside of the knees and they leak in two spots. I would never buy another pair.

Fishgal's leaked from the moment she put them on. To Cabela's credit, there was not even the slightest question when we asked for a full credit smile

I have the spendier "Gore Tex" guide waders and am very happy with them. They have never leaked. I do know that they stand behind their products 100%, no questions asked.

I had a pair that leeaked and I sent them back for a full refund. I since have bought the Dan Bailey guide models and love them. I have used them for 2 years with no leaks and they seem to be tough as nails. laugh

I guess my comments will mirror those of everyone above. I bought a pair of DRY-PLUSII waders a couple years ago, got about 5 trips out of them (I hike alot) and they started to unravel inside the knees and leaked horribly. I don't know that it was shoddy workmanship as much as a poor fit and since the company is in the midwest, I can't exactly drive out there to try on a pair.

I also switched to Dan Bailey's and wish I would have done so years ago! A great fit, tough material and no leaks after a year of hard use. I'm convinced they are one of the best deals out there for the money.

I will say Cabelas has great customer service. I'd used my waders too much and didn't feel it was appropriate to return them at that point but I still order tons of other gear from them.

I picked up a pair of the Orvis Clearwater breathable waders a couple years ago and love em. Good value and good warranty as well with a local shop if you ever have problems. They sell for about $149

Not sure how much the Cabelas are but you may want to look into these
