Just FYI:
I would consider lowering your price. I would rather spend another $40 bucks and get one brand new with a warranty from the store then buy it off someone on a forum. I don't mean this as an insult against you, but I would feel more confident putting my money towards a brand new downrigger. I would have to think many others would feel the same way. But good luck nonetheless trying to sell your downrigger.

If one looks in the right places, they sell new for less than your asking price locally (before sales tax anyway).
