This is how it is done!

Taken with my .458 SOCOM. Punched him in the lungs and he dropped within 5 yards of where I hit him.

Once help arrived I got a nice photo!

The only way to take it out, other than whole.

Groceries hangin' in the new shop. Looks like I finished the house just in time.

Deer tomorrow!

55" across, 54" along each main beam. 14" around the bases and 20" spread between the G4's and G5's. For a 5 point, I have no regrets.

Nice job.

So it looks as if a .458 Socom can kill an Elk......

Nice!

I've wondered how much actual weight I could throw on the racks of my Grizzly. The front is rated at 88lbs and the rear at 176. I guess its safe to say they'll take way more than that.

Most I've had is a decent 3 pt Muley on the rear.

Bigger than my previous big bull.

Much bigger. I know, the last one was a puny wimp compared to this one.

Smallest tine is 13", and the circumfrence of the beam where the G4 and G5 part is 11".

Bullets recovered from the chest and neck (kill shot). 214 & 227 grains. Original bullet was 300 grains.

I would guess we had 500-600lb of elk on that 660. 350 front, 200+ rear.

WOW! Definitly the biggest 5x5 I have seen. It puts my 5x5 toutle bull from 2 yrs ago to shame and it wasn't no slouch! Looks like a Quinault bull?? Mounting it I assume?

An absolute toad of a 5 point!! Nice work. You draw that master hunter Quinault tag? Call him in or just spot and blast?

Good on ya,

KID
