I tied off some practically bomb-proof (LOTS of head cement)chum flies for a conservation auction recently (Shewey's Comet, Dog Salmon Spey, Chum Candy #2, and chartreuse-chenille/beadhead/green hackle/fuschia marabou tail on salt-water hook in size 6...) and was recently told that candlefish (in chartreuse/green?) would also work. I was just wondering what other patterns in what sizes would be effective that I could also include? Are there specific patterns that aggravate/appeal to chum depending on if they are in saltwater or in freshwater? I have read that if chartreuse does not work that bright red and hot pink may do the job. Any suggestions would be most welcome!!!

Thanks much!
