If it's a fillet of fish, easiest way is in a nonstick pan with a bit of oil. Cool skin side down first (if there's skin on it) and then flip after about 3-5 minutes.

If it's a whole fish, you can roast in the oven on a baking sheet. Season the inside of the fish with garlic salt and pepper and olive oil. At about 400 degrees will take 15 minutes.
