Unlike Evo, I feel like I have been treated like crud by the cops more than once, and for the most part never deserved any of it. Pulled over 7 times in about 3 years for bogus reasons and then let go every time without a ticket. I even got wrongly arrested one time and had to go to court, where they promptly dropped the charges without any discussion. The fact that you have not had a gun drawn on you Todd, likely has more to do with luck than anything else. I never have had one pointed at me, but they have drawn more than once on me. The most dangerous was when they made a mistake and came to my house instead of a neighbors, at 2 am, to execute a warrant. I barely got out of that one unscathed. My guess is that if I wasn't white I would be sure it was because of my race. It is unbelievable the amount of bad interactions I have had or seen, especially for a white, middle aged, non-drinking, boring guy.
