I use 6# power pro for springers,,, no leader''' and love it, hell on the cheep factory hooks.i've replaced all the factory hooks after breaking the brazing on two lead hooks. i've hooked and landed 4 springers ranging from 22# hen to a 35# buck and was able to keep it close enough to the boat not to cause any problems with anglers around me....the head shake makes it feel like your hitting your rod on a table top.. no way would i change... prue enjoyment...
