The fact that the logging industry has been irresponsible since just about forever? I'm sure Mr Vedder is the first to come up with that one. Tell me something I don't know. Just because I'm in the business doesn't mean I agree with past logging practices. There is no dispute here that irresponsible logging adversly affects our fish habitat. Add it to the myriad other reasons our stocks have been in decline. Back to the real issue. RT's rant is unprofessional and unnecessary. You really think Frank Amato would publish that? Is Mr Amato a proud editor to have RT in the fold for his "freedom of expression" essay? Maybe we'll see it in next months STS?
