CanyonMan, a 21 foot would be just fine in most cases out at Westport. BUT....just remember to use your head, keep an eye on the weather report, and current conditions. Also make sure you have reliable equiptment, like a Gps, VHF proper safety gear and definitely a good running kicker motor.

I have never been on a Charter, but I am sure there are many on this board willing to suggest some good skippers. Shoot me an E-mail and we can discuss some future fishing perhaps.

If you have conquered the Ilwaco bar,
then you should have no trouble with the Westport bar, just do as Dan stated and look up the conditions on the web before heading out and cross during the best times such as slack tide.

Ray.....Next time could you get all of the fish in my photos for me? Somehow the tails were missing on those fish...LOL.
