If a dog bites me, it gets to meet the business end of my fish bonker. If the dog bites one of my kids, it meets my fillet knife. If the owner objects, he better just verbally object, or he'll wind up writing in the other thread that talks about getting hurt while fishing.

There is no way I will tolerate any loose animal that bites, on the river or anywhere else. It's too bad for the animal that they are stuck with irresponsible owners.
