Guess I'll have to come out of the closet too! Ok... I admit it I'm a Bi-Fisher too. laugh

I hate being low holed by some jerk. I'll usually let him know what I'm thinkin too when I get down in that direction but I try to do it in a way that doesn't come across as a blatant attack.

It's usually an individual thing, being a jerk that is, whether they’re fly or gear oriented. But I'll have to comment on one thing that might not be the most popular opinion. I have been low holed and screwed by more bait guys on the Skagit than by fly guys, whether I'm bait fishing or fly-fishing. I tend to fish guts in the fall/winter months and move to feathers in the spring/summer months. So I have a fair number of hours doing both. Fly guys 90% of the time move through the hole, and tend to be courteous to their fellow fisherman (as long as they're fishing a fly). Bait guys seem to grow roots 70% of the time and seem to have no qualm with low holing a fisherman they don't know. Yes these are generalizations for certain.

Something else to think about too is that 5% or less of the fishermen on the rivers come here to this board, catch 90% of the fish and are in a position to educate the jerks that we all fish with.
