A bait thug is someone who wants to hook a fish in the mouth. Go up to the Samish and use a jig. Wait til the third or fourth bite then set the hook. I hooked alot of fish on a plain jig no hooks no feathers no nothing. Someone up there says this jig looks like a shrimp, this one looks like eggs. I hooked just as many if not more on a plain lead jig. What's that suppose to look like? Can you say flossing! Once in a blue moon you'll hook a king in another place other than the right side of the mouth. But jigs do have one advantage up the you don't have to burn up your steelhead eggs. Don't mean to vent but as Curt Angle says "It's the TRUTH" OHH well we all snag fish accidently, just release unless it's your only source of food then keep them.
