I have fished Knight Inlet in early May. The fishing that was best (and it was white hot) was quite far up the inlet. The Chinook chase the oolichan who are on a spawning run to the river at the head of the inlet. All the kings were cookie cutters, 20-25lbs. very fat and sassy. At that time of year the chinook were heading back out the inlet. Not sure what you will find in June and as I recall Chinook Cove is near the mouth of the inlet. This is big water and afternoons especially can get dicey with winds coming down the inlet. Hope this helps.
