This will be my 4th year fishing Telegraph cove in mid June. The inside was closed to all ling cod fishing last year but we released a few. There are rockfish and halibut around, and chinook fishing can be good in Knight Inlet and around the islands at that time of year. The owner of Telegraph Cove Lodge, Gordy Graham, will have a booth at the Portland Sportsman's Show next week and will be happy to answer questions. He fishes about 7 mornings per week in June.
The previous comment on weather is correct. Tides can be as high as 17 feet and tidal current very strong. Take a good tide and current table and watch the afternoon wind.
