All the stuff stated in Normans post makes sense. That's what I've always been told by the Canadian and Washington fisheries people. They've always told me that if you go to Canada for a trip that involves staying in Canada and fishing and then returning there is no problem. I go there for 3 to 5 day trips several times a year in the spring, summer and fall and return with my catch to the port I left. If stopped by the WDFW I produce proof of entry to Canada, my Canadian license and all's well. When returning to Washington I always report to the US Customs and declare why I was in Canada and the catch I'm returning with.
