I haven't injured myself in the line of fishing but I have seen some great ones. When I was going to school in Northern California. A guy stepped behind me when I was fly fishing. Not a sole in sight and he chooses to line up right behind me. On the ensueing backcast, my #2 Boss hooked the bridge of his new Nikon polarized glasses and promptly deposited them on the other side of the river. He screamed at me that they were $300 glasses and I would have to pay for them. Some People!
Last year I was fishing a local stream when I saw a gentleman decide to lay down on the rock he was fishing since he wasn't really producing anything and looked like he needed to sleep one off. About 5 minutes later I hear a loud splash. I look down stream and see nothing. Not so much as a ripple in the water. About 2 seconds after that, this guy could chugging out of the water with water coming out of his mouth and nose. Almost pee'd myself I was laughing so hard! He lost all his gear and went home soaking wet!
