Three years ago, me and two buddies went for some steel in Febuary. The day before it had rained and during the night the temps got below freezing. We decided to meet at first light, the trail we were walking down was about 5 feet up from the river bank. The trail was pretty icy to begin with, but we approached a spot where the ice was pratically a slide going right down to the river. I didn't feel like crawling though *****ly ash to get around it so, I proceeded to grab a tree branch to help support me as I inched accross the ice. At first the branch supported me, but two steps onto the ice and the branch snapped, I lost control and fell down to the river bank onto my right thigh, and then slid into the river. I have never seen two people laugh so hard. That is one of the worst pains I have ever felt, my whole right thigh turned black and blue not too long after that.
