GP,
Still floating around! 79 days to go! Boy if I ever sell my tackle on Ebay, I am surely a millionare and the wife would be happy! More horses for her.
Flutter spoons??? I have a dozen or so painted up in "super glow green" (Glow Mates). I like the 4 1/2". It's 5/8" wide and a perfect sand lance imitiation.
Don't get wrong here guys. I like the 'Yote's action and as a shallow water spoon on bright clear days. However, I fish deeper than many care to. It is uncommon for me to fish 180-200 feet- I need something I know fish will see. Might be a slight confidence factor involved, but I just looked through my journals (on CD-RWs) and I haven't seen more than 10 fish caught over 135 feet on a 'Yote.
Radiant's spoons are almost an exact stamp of the 'Yote' and are painted on both sides (glow versions)- barrel swivel and split rings included. All I have to do is switch the barrel swivel around... They also have a plain "Glo Below" spoon that I can custom air brush and/or take the pens to.
The Kingfisher spoons have recently gained popularity. The #2 or #3 work well behind a flasher. The number #4 will work, but dampens the rotation of the flashers slightly.
I have a couple of #2's set up behind an 8" flasher.
What out... Tomic has a new spoon on the market!
