I'd go with a sturdy split ring, and a 1/0 Siwash for sizes 4 and 5 french bladed spinners (or spoons for that matter).

The split ring gives the rig another joint on which to pivot and when a fish shakes its head or does the Coho twirl, the extra joint is good to ensure that the hook stays home. Pinching the barb down on a VMC size 1/0 Siwash in dark bronze works well for deeper penetration on hooksets as well. Gami's are sharper out of the box, but VMC's bend off of rocks better, bend back readily, and sharpen up nicely.

I'd ditch the trebles and go single barbless with a split ring. Anecdotal (non-peer-reviewed) evidence in my hands suggests I have a higher rate of beaching fish with barbless than with barbs. They are easier to pull out of your partner's scalp and ears as well.

Hope that all helps, and I'd welcome anybody else's suggestions too.
