I just discovered on Saturday that someone tried to steal my kicker again. (I've already lost one to thieves) I was getting something out of the boat and noticed the fuel line was off the motor. Thought that was weird, and when looking closer noticed the wire for the remote throttle control was cut and the locking mechanism was broke. I guess breaking that lock made enough noise to scare them away.

I think I'm going to figure out a way to bolt the motor to the transom. It will take much longer and more work to unbolt.
