Have personally lost three kickers over the last 20 yrs. Managed to get one back only because I managed to get the license plate of the vehicle as it was driving off and they ( the lowlifes) knew it. Seems the driver had a rap sheet a mile long! They called a couple of days later and offered to return the motor if I dropped the charges. Told them no way and they returned the motor anyways. Any more if I buy anything used, I always run the serial #s past the local law enforcement. Was really glad to see Everett PD running serial #s down at the docks while they were doing safety checks!
