If my employer was going to send me anywhere I want in Alaska I would have to research the heck out of that and go where I could never afford to go.

I agree with the Doc, I am stuck on the Kenai too. Those are quality fish and there is no where else in the world you can catch salmon of that size.

I have fished Kodiak Island a lot from boat and on foot. I love it there. The one River I have never fished on Kodiak is the Karluk (SP?) for Kings. I have talked to a lot of people who have. It comes on in June and it is a fly in float trip, no lodges to stay at that I am aware of and I understand you are pretty much guaranteed to get some Bear sightseeing in as a bonus.
