I quit reading your post when you started ranting about snagging. Also, I take it most people do not understand that in Washington state there is an implied warranty and warranty cards are uneccessary. My point is, if you make a rod and warrant it for lifetime it shouldn't matter how or when it was obtained. Why do I have to keep my receipts for my "lifetime"? I haven't a clue if I even have receipts from ten or fifteen years ago and it shouldn't matter. It's a Lami, fix it under warranty or tell me why you won't. Luckily I've never had a problem with my Lami's.
