Makai, I know that it's legal for the indians to snag. Don't care about it. The tribe can manage they're members as they see fit. I don't even care if they're fishing it. God knows (and so do I) that there is a harvestable runs of kings in there. FOR EVERYBODY. The first few weeks in August are when the fish are in they're best condition. I don't want to fish in September for boots. (I know Flicker, the majority of the fish you saw were in good condition.) :rolleyes:

I just want to know why the river was closed for the month of August. I have a ball there every year (as do MANY of others) even though it's gotten a little crowded
