I'm with you Andy, but most people tend to get a little defensive when you say that. One of the problems that I've found is that people don't get the rods put together tight, that will cause them to snap above the ferrul. I've broke a couple of loomis's and had a ton of the ceramics pop out of the eyes, so many that I've gotten rid of them. Rainshadow makes a good rod, I know some people that fish them and love them. I've tried a couple of their rods and like the feel of them. I can't believe how calm this thread has stayed, But I'll bet Beezer likes Fords too.
