reyns:

Been using prawns since 1987, the year I bought my 87 chev truck.

I buy the 51-60, 2 pound package. When I get home:

1. peel.

2. then take a filet knife, cut down the middle, longways. Works better to be partly frozen.

3. take a "days fishing".......12 - 20 halves.

4. Vaccum seal

Take out night before, although sometimes forget this and do day of.

Put "thick end" thur egg loop........let the tail end "wiggle".....use cheater or corkie above.

Works for Hoh springers, and winter/summer steelhead.

Have played with the color bit, maybe it was just a bad day.......but plain just seems to work for me!!!!

Believe me.........buy when on sale........2 pounds of prawns.....$8 - $10 worth, will last most of a winter fishing. A plus thing, they stay on the hook soooooooooo much better than sandshrimp.
