I buy the 50 ct tiger prawns and just zip lock freezer them whole about six to a bag. When I leave in the morning I grab a bag from the freezer. they thaw fast. Pull a piece of prawn off about the same size as the corky I'm using and hook and egg loop it. I use the wiggler with spin and glows. Left overs go right back in the freezer. They are still good. The nice thing about prawns are that they work, the small fish can't get them off as easy, you can cast hard if you want they stay on better than eggs or sand shrimp, I use small pieces so they are a more natural drifting bait and most steelhead absolutely slam them.
