Hope I am not too late to get in on this discussion. I have never used a rainshadow rod but several years ago several of my friends that are guides refered to them as Rainshatters because they had seen so many explode under pressure, it seems that this is not so anymore judging by all of your reports. I was wondering how thier 1141 compares to the GLX 1141s? I have 3 of those and I absolutly LOOOVE them. I ask because I am always interested in quality local tackle. Thanks-T
