I don't buy the "level playing field" because you are putting his stats against other greats of the game. It might be a "level playing field" for the era (I don't even buy that) but his stats shouldn't be able to be compared to people like Hank Aaron.

And just because Manny (or anyone else) isn't on the list doesn't mean there is some conspiracy. Maybe he was just smarter about how he did it? They clearly aren't going to catch everyone. Some of these were easy finds though and were based on canceled checks or first hand info from other players or trainers.

The other thing that seems strange to me is that people are already saying things like, "Yeah, that was steroid era in the late 90's", as if none of this continued up to the most recent seasons? And shame on the league for trying to punish Giambi a while back when he was trying to be open about what had happened. All that did was make everyone shut up and continue denying everything.
