My opinion is this...

140/12lb is not nearly good enough for fishing for nates in the spring...the 300 will hold more like 210 yards of 15...at 140/12, we're looking at about 100, 110 yards of 15...

For the summer, and winter brats, it would be excellent...I have a Record 50 and a DHSV200 for those times, and that's about the line capacity that they have, too.
