I think that the Republican Party ought to strongly consider not having him run for anything...if he wins, he'll be in the Senate for as long as his appeals hold out...call it a year.

If his appeals don't go through...which is what I'd wager is going to happen...then the Senate will kick him out, and it will be embarrassing as hell for him and the Party.

If he follows his Republican Party's leadership example, however, he'll just live in an alter-reality, and keep on denying everything until the whole house of cards tumbles down...which is what I'd expect him to do, easily.

What do the Republicans here think he ought to do? He's likely to win a Senate seat, but he's likely to have it yanked out from under him in a year to 18 months after he does...is that OK with you?
