I cannot beleive we can't use a bait weight now, that's totally ridiculous and very shortsighted by the WDFW.
What about the Dead Fish Bait Weight company? This puts him out of business I suppose.

Fishing a glob of eggs with a small split shot or colored bullet weight is one of my most effective techniques. and it REALLY SUCKS that it's now deemed illegal. I think the WDFW should re-write the rule to allow bait weights, and re-issue a clarified statement depicting exactly what is and is not illegal under the revised rules.
