A replica of the Viet Nam memorial made a trip thru Kitsap a few years ago. They did a good job of making a smaller size replica and it's worth seeing even if you can't take a trip to DC. The memorial to Washington's servicemen that paid the ultimate price on the south side of Benaroyaq Hall n Seattle is worth taking alook at also. I stopped there yesterday to pay respects to my Uncle and three friends.

Captain - I've attached a link to a website showing the boat I was on. We fired in suppot of the Marines from I-Corp to the Mekong so if you ever called "Expert Alpha" on the radio for support, it was our boat:

Chuck, I was on the Big E right after the 69' fire, then two more WestPac cruises on the Hancock.
Worked on A7's with VA 215 on the Enterprise, and A4's with VA 164 on the Hancock.
Visited nearly every in country base that had a runway big enough to land a jet.
Last cruise I was on the beach detachment and spent 5 months in the PI.
