Salmo, please dont base your opinion on 1 or 2 certain individuals.

I have 3 different friends who used to have hounds for cougar and bear hunting. I say used to because it is now illegal in Oregon.

That was 20 plus years ago, but at the time, those dog's lived the life of luxury. Some spent the nights in the house sleeping on cushy beds, the rest were spoiled rotten even if they slept outside in a nice enclosed enviroment.

Good houndsmen take care of their animals and the prey that they seek.

Problem is, nobody wants to focus on the good guy's anymore , it's easier and more new's worthy to focus on the bad apples.
