Good post Bob, not many instances where a spinning outfit will come close to a baitcaster in performance or presenting as well.

A good quality 10 footer with a low pro baitcaster is about the best setup for versatility, unless your using floats all the time, then its the long rod with the pin, or a long rod with a baitcaster.
