I agree. 75% of the time I find that a rainbow will hit a fly a second time if they miss it the first. Let the fly sit in the same general area and usually they'll nail it again.

Now, I'd love to be a Chironomid Master, but the fishin' is a bit too boring for me. Plus, I'm honestly not very good at it. I generally do better with a little action on a wet line. Right now, I'm reading the Morris/Brian Chan book on Lake Fishing hoping to get a bit better at fishing chironomids. Hats off to FF if he's a master.
