I think a small red or darker jig under a float with 8lb or less leader would be a good bet right now. If it's really bright out and the waters clear go really dark. The opposite for dark water. And a little scent wouldn't hurt. Just my guess. The river is looking better by the day. I may have to break out the waders and head up there wednesday or thursday.
