This year on the Kasilof I watched a client in another guide boat fumble the rod on a take down and drop a loomis mooching rod with tekota reel into the drink with fish still attached.

An hour later I watched Gary McFadden's(another guide) boat hook up and reel in the lost rod and reel, then reel in the fish that was attached to the lost rod and reel!!!!!

Craziest [censored] I've ever seen! The best part was the lost rod was returned to the owner shortly after. Totally unbelievable!!
