I fish South Twin Lake (the better of the two) every year. Good for Trout......many small Bass and the occasional lunker bass. Limit of 24 I think for the bass.....which by the way have saved the fishing in these lakes by cleaning out a Goldfish infestation.They also cleaned out the Redside shiners which used to grow monster trout. Now they are a nusance. If you go there to Bass fish.....please Keep 24 at least.
The channel between the lakes though shallow is passable all year every year. The lake levels are relatively stable.
